Research Data Management Session for Education Researchers - Nov. 24th

You are invited to a Research Data Management Session presented by members of the UBC ARC team - Eugene Barsky (Research Data Librarian), Kaitlyn Gutteridge (Research Data Privacy and Security Officer) and Megan Meredith-Lobay (Digital Humanities and Social Sciences Analyst).

The purpose of the one-hour session is to outline the support and resources that are available to Education researchers with respect to research data management, for example:

  • UBC Data repository - Abacus Dataverse
  • Data Management Plans (DMPs), and DMP Assistant software 
  • Work on National Research Data repository with Globus
  • DOIs for discovery
  • Research data privacy and security at UBC
  • Digital Humanities resources at UBC
  • Compute Canada offerings for Education researchers
